How To Make An Andorian

Page 6 - The Hair

We have blue skin but no white hair or antennae.

06a. - This is what I normally do: I use the GREY image for the hair. If you closed the GREY or colorless Ms. Jolie open her back up. Use the Lasso tool (See how to Make a Ferengi for detailed instructions and information) and outline Ms. Jolie's hair. Now, click on Adjust>Brightness and Contrast>Brightness/Contrast. Experiment. You'll notice that I used a high brightness (154) and low contrast (19). It worked with this particular shade of "brown" that was decolorized. Experiment. Maybe you want something not at pale. Experiment.

06b. - Copy the modified image. Edit>Copy. Then switch over to our Blue Ms. Jolie and Edit>Paste>Paste as New Layer and move the over the old hair. It'll look white when it is on top of the brown hair. Now erase all the excess and useless areas. Play with the Transparency to affect the intensity of white.

06c. - Now for the antennae. First, the Andorians head is too large. Resize it. (See How to Make a Ferengi on detailed instructions and information on resizing.) Next, outline the Antennae. At this point I went ahead and entered Adjust>Hue and Saturation>Colorize and adjusted everything until the blue was close. Then I went into Brightness and Contrast and adjusted the numbers there. After that copied each antenna and pasted both as New Layers and made whatever changes needed to be made.
