The method I use in making Caitains is not too different than the one I use to make a Vorta or Ferengi. Instead of Lassoing out the human face I copy the feline face or head and paste in onto the Human body. From there we began the transformation.
02a. To begin the Caitain, Lasso the Lion's head and paste as a New Layer. Set transparency so that you can see Picard's eyes when you overlay the Lion over his face. Also, rotate the Lion's head 5 degrees to the left. This is to align the Lion's eyes with that of Picard's.
02b. - As you can see the eyes early match. Fortunatley, I only had to resize the Lion's head to 120 percent the original size.
02c. - The next thing to do is bring the Lion's head back to 100% opaque. Remove all the useless areas around the Lion's head. Once you removed the excess areas select the Fuzz Soft brush. Scale the brush down to something manageable. (See Making a Ferengi and Vorta for detailed information.)
