Page 2 - Starting with the Ear
You probably won't believe me. But a Vulcan, with the proper image, will be the second easiest photomanipulation you'll do. The Bajoran being the easiest.
02a. The first thing to do is copy the ear. Move the cursor over to the the item below the
. If you don't see the rectangle click on the down arrow and select it. Highlight the ear as close to the same way I did. Copy it (CTRL C or Edit>Copy). Important Note: Leave the ear outlined. We'll get back to that later.
02b. - After you have copied the ear click on Edit>Paste>Paste as New Image. Also, Zoom in (scroll up on your Wheel Mouse or View>Zoom>Zoom In) on the image to 200% or at least big enough so you may comfortable see the image.

02c. - Next, activate the Deform tool. The quickest way is to tap the D key once. The long way is to click on the down arrow next to the item that is two above the
. Select the one that saws Deform. Also expand the edges of the image workarea. Move the cursor to a side of the box until you see the double-headed arrows. Hold the mouse button down and drag out, up, or down depending which side you start with. Make sure the box looks like below - or close to it. You'll need a decent amount of space. Move the mouse button to the top line and place it over the middle square. While holding the left mouse button down drage the line up a bit. The Ear will stretch up, or deform. Do the same thing to the right vertical line. Stretch the Ear out. You want to do this until it looks right to you. If you don't like the results, do it again. This is a learning process. Each mistake should be viewed as a chance to do it right the next time.
