How To Make A Vulcan
Page 4 - Cloning the Eyebrow
This step is also very important. It's what defines a Vulcan as Vulcan, too. I'm going to show you how to "build" or Clone the Eyebrow into shape. As an Alternate method, you can hunt down a good photo of Spock and copy and paste his Eyebrows into your image. Then you can use the Clone method to fill the eyebrow out or to thin it down. - Alternate method brought to you from Richard.
04a. This method requires patience and a fairly steady hand. The first thing I did was lasso'ed a tapering end of the eyebrow. Then I pasted it as a new Layer. Next I rotated it (35 degrees left) and then merged it. (To understand Merging see Making a Ferengi). Then I used the erase tool and thinned it down a bit. This is my guideline for the Eyebrow. You can actually skip this step and go directing into cloning the Eyebrow out and Cloning the old Terran Eyebrow away. Now, you can clone.
04b. - First, select the Cloning tool (two little people) and right click on a bare spot. I picked just below the hairline to the right of the Eye. (To read information on using the Clone tool see Making a Ferengi). Remember, when you use the Clone tool you are "painting" with an area underneath the Clone tool crosshairs. Next you can smudge and soften the area to perfection. You can also add noise if you like. Also, do the same thing to the other eyebrow. Look carefully at the original image and the final Photomaniped image to see what I did.

04c. - Our Vulcan is nearly complete.

04d. - This last step is optional. It's adding green tint to the skin. See Making an Orion to learn the method.
